Arriving in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam Travels car and tour guide will pick you up at the airport. Then, travel to Ho Chi Minh City and have lunch at a local restaurant before starting your afternoon city tour.

In the afternoon, we will start our trip by visiting the former French colonial capital - Ho Chi Minh City also called Saigon by many locals.
Famous historical sites in Saigon include the Opera House, Old Saigon Post Office, Independence Palace, and Notre Dame Cathedral. You can also browse the famous Ben Thanh market for souvenirs.

08:00: Tourists will be picked up by Vietnam Travels at hotels in Ho Chi Minh City. The day trip to Cu Chi will take about an hour and a half by bus. Before exploring the things to do at Cu Chi tunnels, you will watch a video introducing the tunnel construction process and how Vietnamese people survived harsh wartime conditions.
Are you feeling excited yet? Now take some time to explore the remaining areas and tunnel systems, including the special living area with kitchen and bedroom. Besides, there are other martial arts facilities such as weapons factories and field hospitals to help meet the basic needs of people living in the tunnels.
In addition, in the maze-like tunnels in Cu Chi tunnels there are many hidden trap doors and dangerous traps to ensure security during war. At the end of the Cu Chi tunnels tour, tourists will be served special tea and cassava (guerilla food during the war).
