8:00: Vietnam Travels tour guides will pick up tourists at hotels in Ho Chi Minh City. The trip from Ho Chi Minh to Cu Chi will take about an hour and a half by bus. Before exploring the tunnels, you will watch a video introducing the tunnel construction process and how Vietnamese people survived in harsh wartime conditions.

In the afternoon, we will start our trip around Ho Chi Minh City, or Saigon, for a half-day city tour. You will have a chance to visit top sites in Ho Chi Minh City including The Independence Palace, Old Saigon Post Office, Notre Dame Cathedral, Opera House, and the famous Ben Thanh market where you can look at something for souvenirs.

Today Vietnam Travels will take you away from the hustle and bustle of Ho Chi Minh City and begin the trip to My Tho, a town located on the left bank of the Mekong River.

Upon arrival, you will visit Vinh Trang Pagoda - a famous ancient pagoda with unique architecture dating from the late 19th century. After that, visitors will continue to board a sampan and cruise on the river. around four beautiful islands called Dragon, Unicorn, Phoenix, and Turtle Islands.

Stop at Ky Lan Island, walk around the country roads and see orchards, enjoy tropical fruits, and listen to folk music performed by local people. Are you excited about this experience?

After that, you will continue to row a sampan through the Thoi Son canal and admire the beauty of the countryside, visiting the businesses of local families. Here you will visit the honey bee farm, and coconut candy factory and enjoy pure honey tea. This is an impressive memory for many tourists when remembering this place.

In the afternoon, you will cycle around Tan Thach village, and meet local people to experience the daily life of local people in the Mekong Delta.
