Morning, start your Ho Chi Minh City trip with a visit to the Independence Palace, a captivating landmark built on the ashes of a former royal residence. Designed by famed architect Ngo Viet Thu, this palace whispers tales of Vietnam's tumultuous past.

Next, embark on a journey through time. Admire the elegant French colonial architecture of Notre Dame Cathedral and the historic Central Post Office. Prepare to be moved by the War Remnants Museum's powerful exhibits showcasing the realities of the Indochina Wars.

After a delicious local lunch, journey 1.5 hours by bus to the legendary Cu Chi Tunnels. Here, a short introduction and video will unveil the ingenuity behind these underground networks. Explore the remaining tunnels, marveling at the living areas, command centers, and hidden traps that were crucial for wartime survival.

Savor a taste of history with a special tea and cassava, a staple food for Viet Cong fighters.

Take a break to relax or, for the adventurous souls, try your hand at firing a real gun (at your own expense). After this immersive experience, return to Saigon for the evening, where dinner is yours to explore.

Note: The Notre Dame Cathedral has been restored, so you can visit outside.

Ditch the bustling Ho Chi Minh City and set sail for My Tho, a Mekong gem nestled on the river's bend. Our journey begins at the historic Vinh Trang Pagoda, which dates back to the 19th century.

Glide down the Mekong aboard a traditional sampan, weaving past the islands named after mythical creatures - Dragon, Unicorn, Phoenix, and Tortoise.

On Unicorn Island, lose yourself amidst verdant orchards, savoring exotic fruits while surrounded by local folk music. Get a taste of local life with a visit to a fruit plantation before navigating the serene Thoi Son canals on a hand-rowed sampan.

Here, immerse yourself in the simple beauty of the countryside, visiting family-run businesses, a honeybee farm, and indulging in honey tea and the magic of a coconut candy workshop.

Refuel with a delicious local lunch before continuing your afternoon adventure. 

Cycle through the charming village of Tan Thach, soaking up the essence of daily life in the Mekong Delta. Or you can unwind in a hammock, letting the cool breeze wash over you.

As the sun dips, we return to Ho Chi Minh City. Dinner is yours to explore at your own pace.
